The Executive Office solution adds a second Sony PTZ camera to equip the office for meetings and presentations from the executive's desk and from the conference table in the corner of the room.

Primary components are the Polycom PVX software and the Sony EVI-D30 PTZ camera. The Polycom ViewStation 512, View Station FX, VS4000 and MP used the Sony EVI D30 PTZ Camera as the primary camera. It is the PTZ camera that is built into the classic ViewStation system that appeared in the late 1990s and has dominated Video Conference system installations ever since.
Polycom, Picturetel, VCon, Gentner, and other industry leaders all used the Sony D-30 camera. The EVI_D30 and its PAL counterpart, the Sony EVI-D31, is truly a Best-In-Breed videoconference system camera. It is the most recognizable component in videoconferencing today.
PTZ means Pan-Tilt-Zoom. These cameras can pan to the right or left, tilt up and down, and they come with a 12x Zoom too. The Sony EVI-D30 is a PTZ camera.
The Sony EVI-D30 has been the market favorite as a 2nd PTZ camera for high-profile conference and board room installations. The second camera is used to capture a different view of the meeting and provide higher visability to meeting participants. The Executive Office Package includes two Sony PTZ cameras so that it can capture action at the desk, on a whiteboard, or at the round conference table in the corner. Powered by Polycom's best-in-breed PVX software and equally best-in-breed hardware components, with expert design and implementation; the GeBX Custom Conference Room Design HyPerformVC solution will efficiently create a competitive advantage for your organization. The base package is shipped pre-configured for a basic application with the powerful Polycom PVX software, a Sony EVI-D30 camera, a 2.4GHz+ PC including OS for collaborative meetings, remote keyboard with remote mouse to control the meeting, a Polycom SoundPoint PC Microphone and PC Speakers.
Your imagination may be the only limit to the options available. Document cameras, ClearOne or Vortex installed audio, an electronic whiteboard and much more can be added for less than you might expect. New, overstock and used options are available. You decide what has to be new and where you can cut corners. We advise you on the options and assist you with the potential trade-offs associated with each choice.
As with most PC-based applications that must communicate through your firewall, the system will need its own dedicated external IP address and standards-based videoconference specific ports must be opened to it. An internal IT department with strong IP network skills will be important to implementation. DLink and other non-business, consumer oriented routers will not support real videoconference initiatives. GeBX will provide your IT staff with the specific requirements.
